Where can I stick the suction cup?+
Any smooth, flat surface: a dashboard, the windshield, or similar. Textured or heavily grained dash surfaces will not hold as well, so pick the smoothest spot you have.
Will the magnet hurt my phone?+
No. Modern smartphones are not damaged by the magnets used in car mounts, which is why Apple builds MagSafe magnets directly into iPhones. If you keep a hotel key card or older magnetic-stripe card in your case, keep that away from the magnet.
