A desk fan that also humidifies and lights up sounds like a gimmick until you actually use one — three genuinely useful modes packed into one small USB device, each doing something a plain fan can't.

Mode 1: Fan

The straightforward one — it moves air, which creates a cooling sensation at your desk or bedside. It runs whisper-quiet, around 30 dB at the lowest setting, and stays unobtrusive even at full speed. That's quiet enough to run overnight without disrupting sleep, which is exactly how a lot of people end up using it.

Mode 2: Humidifier

This is where it goes beyond a normal fan. Fill the small water tank on the base, switch to humidifier mode, and it mists water directly into the airflow as it runs — adding real evaporative cooling on top of the moving air, not just a cooling sensation. It's especially effective in dry climates or dry indoor air (heated rooms in winter are a classic use case). Expect to refill the tank every few hours depending on how long you run it, and use clean or distilled water to keep it running well over time.

Mode 3: LED Night Light

A soft LED light rounds out the three modes — useful on its own as a bedside night light, or layered with either the fan or humidifier mode running at the same time.

Power and setup

It runs off standard USB-A power at 5V — any wall adapter, laptop port, or power bank works, so it's not tied to a specific outlet or plug type. That also means it travels well: desk at work, nightstand at home, or a power bank while camping.

Keeping the tank clean

Rinse the water tank with clean water after each use and let it air dry. For a deeper clean, a diluted white vinegar rinse helps prevent mineral buildup — skip harsh chemical cleaners, since residue can end up in the mist.

Used all three ways — fan for airflow, humidifier for genuine cooling and dry-air relief, night light for a soft glow — it covers a lot more ground than a single-purpose desk fan, from one small USB-powered unit.
